A need

My wife suggested that I share our need with those who read our blog.  Our church averages about 60 or so in attendance on Sunday morning.  We have a small Christian school and a daycare that helps keep things going financially.  Recently the City of Festus issued a directive to our church that we upgrade our sewage system (a lagoon) or face penalties and fines from the Department of Natural Resources among others.  We are currently under way in a project to connect our church to the city sewer line, which is over 1000 feet away and uphill.  The total cost of this will be around $38,000.  So far we have raised approximately $5,000 for this.  If you would like to help, you may send a donation to Bethel Church, 1233 American Legion Drive, Festus, MO  63028.  Your contribution is tax deductible and you will receive a receipt for your donation.  Thanks for letting me ask.
