Travel Journal - Part 2

There a few men that I really love and admire.  They have been great friends, good leaders, humble preachers, but solid in the Word of God.  I listened to them preach this morning, Pastor Mike Hutsell, Pastor Lonnie Burks, Pastor John Williams, and Pastor Tim Adair.  They led the first part of the Contending for the Faith conference.  I asked God before the preaching started to deal with me and let the Preachers preach to me.  They did just that.  I love it when God deals with me about faults, failures, etc.  I am always assured that He loves me when He does that.

This afternoon I spoke for about 3 hours on the emerging church movement invading the FWB denomination.  That was the purpose of the meeting and we hope and pray that it will encourage pastors and church members in all denominations to stand up for what is right and don’t just cave in to the pressure.

I will be preaching here in the morning and then returning home.  Brady Crum will be preaching at our home church and his brother Bradley will be teaching Sunday School.  Pray for them and pray for me.
